Italy declared war with Austria-Hungary on May 23, 1915. Italy declared war with the Ottoman Empire on August 21, 1915. Italy declared war with Bulgaria on October 19, 1915. Italy declared war with Germany on August 28, 1916.
The Peace Treaty of Versailles was an agreement at the end of the war where the British Empire, France, Italy, Japan and the United States formalized Germany’s consequences for the war. Italy ratified the agreement on October 7, 1919.
Territorial changes as a result of the war: Austria-Hungary ceded land to Italy.
